TATTERMASK IS WRITTEN INTO AUTHOR TAMSIN SILVER'S "LIVING DEAD GIRL" SERIES
Love Fantasy novels? Well, you can soon read about Tattermask in one. NYC author Tamsin Silver weaves webs of witches, werewolves, and vampires, in her "Living Dead Girl Series," then tops it off with a neurotic animal activist named after our own Amanda (hmm... sounds like a dead ringer...) who sings in a band... and also has an "evil" twin. Want to learn more about it or buy the first book? Head to http://www.tamsinsilver.com! The band's appearance doesn't come until later, but Amanda's character is in the first one ;)
A NEW, RIDICULOUS TATTERMASK WEBISODE TO TICKLE YOUR...
...sense of humor.
This one's called "WWND?"
The newly reformed Tattermask decides that they must write all-new material, but it has been so long since any songs have been written, they have forgotten how to do it. Someone suggests that they listen to the radio for inspiration, since the bands on the radio are famous. That's when things start to get a little out-of-hand.

TATTERMASK CD "After the Storm..." Available NOW!
We didn't know it when we planned the CD release, but our CD release date of 11-11-11 was also NATIONAL METAL DAY, when the amp dials all go to 11. Thanks to the mockumentary "This is Spinal Tap," we have a great reverence for the number 11. There are 11 tracks on our CD, too:
01. Do the Time
02. Rage
03. Fallen Paradise
04. Over Yet
05. Wannabe
06. 2 Paths
07. Just Listen
08. Everyday Use
09. Death of Me
10. Guilt
11. Lullaby
Physical copies of the CD are available through the link at left, and we will ship it to you.
DOWNLOADS are available at most online retailers, including:
At 8:30pm on Sunday, November 6, the tattered three were on Charlotte's 106.5FM's "90 Minutes" show with local music hero Divakar. If you're not in the Charlotte listening area, or if your radio sucks, tune in online at 1065.com. We talked about the new record and the upcoming CD release party, and we played a live acoustic version of one of the songs :)
Both of these programs have really helped tattermask (and tons of other great locals) get our name out there, so whenever you get a chance, thank them for their support of good local music :) WE are certainly grateful!
TATTERMASK WELCOMES BACK FOUNDING MEMBER ADAM BLACKMON ON DRUMS
Adam was one of the original members of tattermask back in 2007 and 2008, and we hope you all will welcome him back with open arms. No one else behind the drum kit was truly the level of music nazi that Josh and Amanda attain--but Adam goes toe to toe with them. Expect to hear music with an insane level of expression and depth with this trio of anal-retentive rockers back at it again
WAS THAT TATTERMASK I HEARD WHILE IN SCAROWINDS?
Why, yes, it was. The SCarowinds crew is spinning some tunes off the new album for your earholes :)
SEE WHAT THE REMAINING TATTERED TWO WERE UP TO DURING THE HIATUS:
Gene Lazo Photography just released a book about Working-Class Hero Guitars, entitled "Blisters on Me Fingers," and Amanda's "Cherry Pie" (PRS CE-24) and Josh's "Pyro" (Aria Pro 2 with Mods) and "Agent Smith" (PRS Custom 22) got their themed photos taken. Preview "Blisters on Me Fingers" or purchase a copy here!
CRAVING SILLINESS? CHECK OUT OUR WEBISODES!!!
If you think alternative metal bands are all about seriousness, think again. The crazy people that make up tattermask have created some ridiculous videos with out-there plots that will make you laugh til you wet yourself.... hopefully that's an exaggeration, but they're pretty amusing. Check out the first one ["Who's the Boss"] where Mike "auditions" for a bunch of crazy people who couldn't play their way out of a cheap guitar case, or the second one ["@$$hat"] where the band enlists a hobo to play drums, or the brand new third one ["Canned Beats"] where "Edgar" has a love affair with an inanimate object.
